Interview with the Owners
See what Matt Mills has to say about owning Freeze Frame Photo Lounge

What inspired you to open Freeze Frame Photo Lounge?
Chelsea and I were attending a trade show in February of 2011. We met Nick, who is the founder of Open Air Photo Booth. After talking with Nick, Chelsea and I went away and drew up a business plan on a cocktail napkin (yes people really do this!). We then went back and put our deposit down on our first photo booth.
How long have you been in business?
Our first event was the Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce
's Expo in March 2011. We have been serving Mid-Michigan since then.
What is your favorite part of owning a photo booth business?
Being able to be involved in special events in people's lives and also helping our business partners promote and grow their businesses. Having been in business for almost 10 years we have done High School Open Houses and then years later the family has had us at that same child's wedding. We have many recurring customers who then become friends to us.
How have you see the photo booth business change over the years?
Technology is alway changing so photo booths can do more and more things. However, we see that people really enjoy getting their photo taken and getting a hard copy of it that they can hang on their fridge, in their locker, use a bookmark or whatever they choose to do with it. In the digital world we live in, having something you can hold has almost become obsolete.
What is your funniest memory at an event?
We've seen lots of fun things but one of my favorites is when someone who is 'reluctant' to come and get a photo and then ends up having so much fun that they keep coming back!
